I love food and a glass of wine, but also understand the need for balance. My aim as your Nutritional Therapist is to work with you to make a positive and very real difference to your health, to achieve your optimal health and wellness.
Before nutrition, I worked as a lawyer in London for over twenty years, where I experienced first hand the difficulties of balancing work demands and long hours with a healthy lifestyle. I struggled with IBS, hormone imbalance, PMS, exhaustion, stress and then the menopause kicked in !
As a lifelong foodie, I turned my attention to nutrition as a tool to optimise my own health and energy levels. My interest and passion grew as I saw how what we eat can determine how we feel, physically, emotionally and mentally. I finally decided to undertake a complete career change and study for a 3 year qualification to become a Nutritional Therapist and start my own clinical practice.
I believe in a simple, science-based approach to nutrition - no fad diets or vilifying of food groups. I have seen lives transformed by giving the correct nutritional advice.
